The farmland beside our first-generation family farm is for sale, and we have an opportunity to do something we never thought would be possible: buy it, protect it, and keep it in agriculture.

But land prices have climbed far beyond what a small farm like ours can simply absorb.

So we set a pretty crazy goal.

WHY FARMLAND?

Because once farmland is developed, getting it back is nearly impossible.

We want this ground growing crops, supporting livestock, feeding pollinators, raising future farmers, and remaining open agricultural land for years to come.

We don't know if we'll reach $100,000 before the land sells.

But we know we'd regret not trying.

So we're pouring the candles, packing the boxes, telling our story, and seeing just how far a whole lot of people who believe farmland is worth saving can take this.
